you learn the foundations or refine your skills in snow construction.

Learn by doing
You will learn what makes a snow dome strong safe and comfortable.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor
You will learn how to keep warm and cozy in the snow.  If you like you can sleep in the igloo you built!

Workshops will take place on Mt. Hood, Oregon.

Watch this video to see
what you will be doing!
We will start at 8:00am in the Climber’s Registry in the East side of the Wy’East Lodge at Timberline. The drive from Portland is about 1 hour 45 minutes so please leave by 6:15am.

The lodges are on the other side of the parking lot.  There we will have bathrooms and warmth if necessary.

We will be working a stone's throw from the parking lot so skis and snowshoes are not necessary.  We should be finished around 3.30pm.

We will spend the entire day in the snow.

I will send an equipment list and other details as the weather updates the the date approaches.

Looking forward to playing in the snow with you!
